Mindfully dressed is about shifting perspectives on fashion + lifestyle. It’s about buying quality, versatile pieces. It’s about getting creative with your styling. And it’s about buying stuff you truly love, and that look amazing on you.
I am still (and probably always will be) a work in progress. I love to shop and express myself through my outfits as much as the next gal, but I want to do it in a way that’s more mindful. That means not buying something just because it’s a good price or on sale. Purchasing trend pieces I love, not just to fit in with the current fashion. Not keeping something that I do not truly love or that doesn’t look amazing on me right now. Not shopping just to fight boredom or fix a mood, but shopping for an item that would be a great addition to my wardrobe. It’s about buying quality pieces that are versatile and can last. And if they’re made in a sustainable way, with sustainable materials, or purchased secondhand that’s a bonus!
A little bit about me…
My name is Kelly, and I’m a 30-something from Cleveland, OH. I am lucky to be married to the most patient and supportive hubby a girl could ask for. We’re parents to two spunky little ones that keep our lives busy, our home messy and our hearts full.
We recently moved to a new city near the lake, and are having a blast exploring our new home. I decided to take a bit of time off work to help our family settle in, which is proving to be quite an adjustment after 10 years in corporate America. I started this blog (and my instagram account) to provide me with a creative outlets during this time.
Thanks for following along with me on this journey. Please leave a comment below so I can get to know you!
